The Four Bones

The “Four Bones” presentation is one that has been developed around the concept that in any groupings of people there are four basic attitudinal types. We call those “The Four Bones”.

Wishbone

The Wishbone is the individual that sits around wishing all the time but never really makes a commitment; never gets the job done.

Jawbone

This is the individual that talks all the time and never makes a contribution; it’s all talk and no action.​

Knuckle-Bone

This is the individual that knocks everything that everyone else is trying to do, therefore, adds to the problem.

Backbone

The Backbone differs from the other three because he doesn’t wish it away; he doesn’t talk it away; nor does he knock it away. He gets under the load, makes a commitment and becomes part of the solution rather than part of the problem.​
