Seven Common Threads for Success

Why would anyone want to be a wholesaler, especially in the financial services world? People look at wholesalers and perceive this occupation as glamorous; traveling, eating and drinking at great restaurants and bars, all the while getting paid well to do so.

Those of you, who have wholesaled for any time at all, know that there is very little that is glamorous about this life. The only thing on which a wholesaler can fall back on is that if they are successful, they can make a good living. And at times make a very good living.

So what makes a wholesaler successful? Over the course of many years as a Wholesaler, Divisional and National Sales Manager, I have had the opportunity to work for and with some of the most successful people in this industry; like Doug Wood, Scott Logan, Dan Coates, Jack Perry, Steve Scanlon and Mike Roby.

They all have their individual styles but they also share common threads that made them very successful. This book is based on those common threads.

Seven Common Threads for Success deals with preparing and selling yourself before you even open your mouth. That old saying, “you only have one chance to make a first impression”, couldn’t be truer for a wholesaler.
